I lived in Berlin for 3 years.

So you could call me a Berlin veteran if you want.

Und ja, ich kann irgendwie Deutsch (immernoch) sprechen.

Even though I didn’t see myself grow old in that city and moved away voluntarily I still miss it and possibly forever will.

So here a block of cool, unforgettable things to experience, you are a d*****bag if you live there and haven’t done at least 70% of them.

Schneeballschlacht, BBQs on rooftops, staring at the sunset and thinking about how awesome your life is, nr. 30 from Musashi, Dahlienfeuer, Spree Molecule Man from up close, fashion week afterparty, Sunday brunch in Pasternak, Weekend open air, photograph snow on the Wasserturm, Bateau Ivre, Club der Visionaire, Bar 25 closing party, Mauerpark and walk until the end until you reach the city farm, Museuminsel, Museum of Asian Art, take the S1 on a sunny day, go swim in Wannsee, go to the Pfauneninsel, go to Schoenenberg and the Akazienstr., order an Apfelsaft naturtrueb, check out Badeschiff, Stadtbad Neukoelln, have a fig tart at Helmholtsplatz, go eat at Rice Queen on the Danzigerstr., Schnitzel und Schneeweiss, bake under the sun at Weinwegsberg park, molecular cuisine at Reinstoff, eat crocodile and antelope at Massai, Gaerten der Welt in Marzahn, Botanical Garden, Gleisdreieck Markthalle, Kulturbrauerei, Karneval der Kulturen, Hetzen Garten in Britzer Garten, cheese or chocolate fondue in Ars Vini, Gemaeldegalerie, Schloss Schoenhausen with guide, Steinpilzesammeln in Pankow, Fete de la Musique, enter the church in Zionskirchplatz, go to the Arkonaplatz Market, feel like Marie Antoinette in the San Souci and if the water is frozen walk on Schinkel’s Roman Baths, eat or drink at a cafe in Oranienburgerstr., Naturkunde Museum, Hamburger Bahnhof, Goerlitzer Park, ice cream on the Kastanienallee, Philarmonie, Arena on a Saturday evening, Watergate on a Sunday morning.

And this is why I will always want to cry and smile when watching this:

Berlin, I <3 you (immernoch)
